Catch-Up...major catch-up

Six months ago it was Halloween and we had our first snow.  Now it's April and we have yet another snow storm.  It's been awhile and though lots going on, pretty much the same.

Baseball and softball started back up for Kellan and Zoë in January.  We made a trip back to So Cal for X-mas this year. We had our first endeavor into rec basketball.  Kellan nicknamed Dexter "tiny-baller".  Dexter was the first of the kids to play organized basketball.  He was all about the defense. Absolutely hilarious. He was so serious.

Jim's coaching Kellan again.  I'm working insane hours going on a year.  I feel I haven't seen the kids much (or Jim) and keep wanting them to be small again.   I fall asleep with Dexter every night.  Their new favorite show is The Simpsons.  Dexter likes to say how he's too young to be watching what he does - I agree. Kellan and Zoë would have never been watching The Simpsons at six.

They are all doing fine in school.  Kellan made honor roll one quarter then missed it by .1 the next quarter.  Zoë wears I size 8.5 in tennis shoes.  Kellan is officially taller than me by about an inch. They are nice to each other about 50% of the time.

Halloween.  The kids love Napoleon Dynamite.  Even Dexter, will watch it on his own.
Kellan as Napoleon, Brandon as Kip.
Zoë as a nerd Stacy.
D as Iron Patriot...two years running.
It was supposed to be a Seahawks X-mas, but D decided against it at the last minute.  Ironically the year they wore Broncos, the Seahawks won the Super Bowl, this year they wear Hawks and the Broncos win.
X-mas in CA
Day 1 - We missed the premiere night of Star Wars, but saw it the next day.  For all the years I lived in CA I had never seen a movie at Big Newport.  The kids enjoyed kicking their feet up and reclining.

Pictures for the grandparents X-mas...
Disneyland with the Weavers.  Six years ago I said I would never, ever go to Disneyland over the holidays again.  Well, six years was a long time ago and we went...I will never, ever go to Disneyland over the holidays again.  I don't ever remember it raining in CA as much as it did as our day 2 at the park.  It was crazy.  Dexter still could care less about the park. Auntie and TK saved him by taking him back to the room for hours on end where the boys could play on their devices.

The fact you can see some ground in front of Kellan doesn't give the crowds justice.  Day 1 at Disneyland was like this all day/all night, insane.

Kellan's first time on Tower of Terror.
Miserable.  Lucky for D, Auntie brought the stroller.  He lived in that thing.
Yeah, we did this 3x because we were the only idiots who wanted to go on the ride (well and I personally couldn't say No to Dev she is so super awesome).  So much fun, may be the reason I felt deathly ill for the rest of the trip (I still blame that on total exhaustion vs. the elements).

Visiting Gma Sue and eating In N Out for the third time.
The Engars hosted a big party, so great to see everyone.  20+ kids...
Kellan, Caden and Conner all born within 3 days of each other at Hoag Hospital
Dads with their boys.
Christmas Eve Day.  Kellan and Zoë got a big treat, they got to go to their first Cirque du Soleil with Cam, Tiff and the girls.

Christmas Eve.  I was sooo sad.  I missed it, in bed all day, all night.  Everyone had a great time without me ;)  Once again 0 pictures of Aunt Tiffany - wth?
These "ugly" sweaters have been worn...a lot.
Christmas Day.
Christmas at the Brady's.  My opportunity to take pictures of all the Bradys & Munhollands together for the first time in years and years.  I failed miserably, the only picture I took!  Great food and great company.
Final day/night.  Getting ready to go to the Captains for dinner.  So sad...again, this day Dexter was down for the count, poor kid.  I stayed back with him, but still got some of the best left-overs I've ever had!
This was not staged.
Miss these girls so much.  Getting WAY too old and big and mature.

Back to CO...
This kid lost two teeth in a couple of days...

Then this kid got his long awaited for braces.  A lot of work to be done here...great attitude.
BEFORE...AFTER - OCT. 2017
My BUNNY

First time ice skating, well second for Kellan (the first time he was 5).  Dexter could have cared less.  I find myself saying that a lot lately.
We got two of these seats for a Nugget's game.  Kellan got to give the players high fives before the game started.  Then we switched with Jim and Zoë and she got a big hug from Rocky.  Lucky for these two Dexter could once again care less (and I said it again) about sitting close and stayed in his seat behind the hoop for the game.
D number 6.
Devin!  Super Star!  Can be found in your local Target, Toys R Us (since X-mas and she's still in our Target!)
