Disney World Fall 2010

Since there's a lull in current life.  I thought I'd post our D-World trip & pictures.

As far as the trip went, it seems like years ago now.  Crazy how day to day life can be mundane, yet I look back a few months and so much has happened.  I find myself saying this a lot - but it truly was a great, fun trip.  I rarely take off more than a few days here and there, so when we had 7 days to look forward to it seemed like it would be a long time.  Of course it flew by with us all wishing for more free time, more ride time, more family time.

We were fortunate to have a big, two story "villa" to share with Cam, Tiff, Phoebe, Lyla, G-Ma Lawna & Papa Jim.  The weather was fantastic.  Jim had our days planned well with time at each park, good eats, and free time.  Dexter was my little pal and slept everynight on my head.  The kids dared to go on more rides then I would ever go on.  We celebrated Tiff & Phoebe's b-days and Jim and I found ourselves away from home again for another anniversary.

I lost our camera about 100+ pictures into the trip.  I am still sad.  All pictures below courtesy of the CA Munholland families - I can't come close to posting them all.  Of course the day Phoebe and Zoe went to Alice's Tea Party was the day I had the camera.  Not too mention the day Tiff & I had an hour of R & R on the beach sipping cocktails.   One of the videos we lost was of the only baseball playoff game we saw because for some reason, not one place at Disneyworld has TBS.  We had to go to a ESPN restaurant, wait in line...yes, wait in line, not put our name in for a table, but wait in an actual line!  It also happened to be the night the Phillies'  Roy Halladay pitched only the second no-hitter in post season ever!  We got the crowd's reaction, plus the kids' who actually knew what was going on...a bit of history on record for us.  But, sadly, all for not.

More commentary below accompanied by pictures.

Last kid's quote:

Watching Toy Story 3

Kellan: "Barbie has a big butt."
Mom: "Barbie has a perfect butt."
Zoe: "Ken has a juicy butt."

See above & below.  If you could have seen the video.  I swear the Magic Carpet ride we were on was possessed.  I think I was more scared than the kids.

We ate one of our meals in the Castle - accompanied by all the princesses.  Lots of smiles from the girls & Kellan (and Jim).

Not Disney appropriate.  See background.

If only you could really see all the dance moves going on.
