Winter fun with Spring temps

In the past two weeks we've had an 80 degree change in temp (-20's up to the 60's).  The drastic change gave us a fun opportunity to enjoy the sun and the snow.  We went for a walk the weekend before last and I sent Jim home for our "sleds" as there's a big hill by the school that looked fun for sledding.  Unfortunately, we didn't really consider how we were dressed (other than myself who is always dressed for winter, snow boots and all).  Check out video link below - all I can say is poor, poor Zoe.  All the kids were freezing, but Zoe of course had the fewest clothes on.  Watch the volume on your computer - Zoe is quite vocal.

Kellan is doing well enough in school that he didn't warrant a parent/teacher conference unless requested. That's a first - not Kellan doing well (though sometimes we have our doubts), but an optional conference.  Zoe seems to get more and more mature by the minute.  I'm not sure when/where/why it was Ok to let her watch the shows Kellan watches, or for that matter when/where/why it was Ok for Kellan to watch them.   They are now watching Sesame Street.

Sledding video

Loved the slide, 100x over

Pretty soon they are all going to have bigger feet than me

The camera isn't as fast as the hand stand, but she can really do it

Freddy Krueger (minus the blades)

Loving his new coat

Getting so big!  Zoe is starting to enjoy clothes - in fact would rather go clothes shopping instead of toy shopping (to quote her) - just not winter clothes.
Dexter now loves to pick out his clothes - especially anything to do with baseball
